Where to eat in London

It was the second time that we went to London and I think, I enjoyed it a little bit more than the first time. I just love this city, the atmosphere, the people and (yes) the weather...and I love the food! So I asked you over on my Instagram if you wanted to see some Blog posts about London. And surprisingly a lot of you said yes! So, I am talking (?) you through all the places that have bomb food and most over all are affordable!

Let's start with the food legend, Borough Market! You've probably heard of this amazing market before but I just had to include it! It has everything you can imagine that a food market has, from hot dogs to salads to chinese to pastries and it also has a little flower shop and even a shop full of spices! I could write more and more things you can get there but I think, then we'll be sitting here for a couple of hours!

I was a bit mad about the huge choice! I walked through the entire market about three times just because I couldn't decide! After a few times of overthinking, I finally came up with the idea to get me some kind of vegan sandwich (and also because it was near where we were sitting and I dind't want to walkt through the market a fourth time).

Now, for the next place I unfortunately don't have any photos. We had gone there the first time we went to London and I absolutely fell in love with this little hawaiian burgershop on carnaby street. We all wanted to go there again but we just didn't have enough time since this was a short term stay and we had an apartment where we cooked by ourselves. But I can tell you that it is just gorgeous! The food there is delicous and they also do take-away. You can chose from burgers with avocado to sandwiches and also my favourite thing, sweet potato chips.

This is the address:  26 Foubert's Pl, Carnaby, London W1 7PP

This beautiful little pub was just around the corner. So, I said we cooked in the apartment but at lunch time we wanted to ''treat'' ourselves and went to 'The Gregorian'. I am trying to eat healthy and I have to say at home I am pretty good at it but when I am on holiday it can be a bit tricky. We all don't want to spend a lot of money on food when we're travelling and the really healthy and low-carb food is expensive.
So, I reached for a burger which was sooo good! The waiters in the pub were really friendly and the atmosphere was very chilly.

The address:  96 Jamaica Rd, London SE16 4SQ

Just a tip!

If you want to get good meals for reasonable prices I recommend you to go to more hidden pubs or restaurants. The prices there are mostly much cheaper and you probably won't be annoyed by tourists. Just walk around and you will find some, trust me!

That's all from me now! I hope this post will help you and that you try out some of the food I listed! Do you want to see more of London and what I did there? I've so much more to share with you!

Lots of love,

  1. All of that food looks so good - those are beautiful photos! If ever I find myself in London I would love to visit these places :) Thanks for this awesome post!

  2. I definitely understand the struggle of overthinking and not knowing where to eat since there are too many options! The market sounds amazing, and it's nice that the waiters at the pub were friendly, that makes the overall experience much more enjoyable! I'll keep these recommendations in mind next time I'm ever in London. :)
